Meet Mariah and Shawn

Mariah and Shawn met when they both decided to take jobs at the Subaru dealership in Jacksonville Florida. Shawn was working as a car salesman and Mariah was working at the front desk. From the first time they hung out, they knew there was something different about their connection and they quickly fell in love.

Mariah and Shawn have been together for a few years now and have recently welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world. According to Mariah, she is quite the talker already at 5 months old. They plan to have their daughter as the flower girl at their wedding. HOW STINKING CUTE!

The Saint Augustine Engagement Session

We started the engagement session in the historic district of Saint Augustine. This was my first time being to Saint Augustine and let me tell you… I was COMPLETLY blown away! It is such a gorgeous historic city with tons of culture and beautiful architecture. I actually got to the shoot about 5 hours early just to explore the city and scout out good locations for photos. When I tell you that I fell in love with Saint Augustine, I am 100% serious. I could photograph there all day every day, there is just so much beauty there and so many great spots for photos!

After exploring some of the more iconic sites like Flagler College and the oldest catholic perish in the United States, we worked our way to a cute little shopping district for some engagement photos with ice cream! I have been dying to do a cute engagement session with ice cream so it was just my luck that Mariah and Shawn LOVE ice cream.

After ice cream, we headed for the beach! We went to Crescent beach in Saint Augustine for the rest of the engagement session. Mariah recommended Crescent beach as it is less crowded that the other beaches because it is a drive on beach. She TOTALLY made the right call!
