I had such a phenomenal time getting to know Devyn and Will throughout the entire wedding process. Devyn worked so hard to create her dream wedding with Will and I am so blessed to have been a part of her vision.

Devyn and Will got married on a family friends property just north of Jacksonville Florida. The property has been in that family since the signing of the declaration of independence! What a sentimental and historical venue to get married at! The wedding venue itself was absolutely gorgeous too. It had these two VERY LARGE oak trees that looked like they were something out of a movie. It was magical and seemed so peaceful.

The wedding ceremony was held underneath one of these ancient oak trees. I just love how the light glistened through the Spanish moss. FAIRYTALE WEDDING. It was such a wonderful moment that I hope Devyn and Will will cherish for the rest of their lives. To be standing there surrounded by the closest people in their lives under the shade of an old oak, professing their love for each other on their wedding day. Starting a new chapter in their lives with the support of their friends and family. I can’t believe I was allowed to witness this moment in their lives.

In planning her wedding, Devyn did an amazing job focusing on the little details that would make her wedding day special and I did my best to capture this in my photographs. He wedding bouquet was just stunning and matched the esthetic of her day so well. Devyn and Will also bought new wedding boots for the occasion and each of them signed the bottom of each other’s boots. Shout out to Toy Story and Woody! I have never seen this before at a wedding and thought it was so cute!

One thing you should know about this couple is that they have the dream team when it comes to friends. I was blown away by how supportive, courteous and caring both Devyn and Will’s friends were. It was clear that they had cultivated a second family in the form of their very close friendships. It was such an honor to have the opportunity to photograph such a supportive group.
