Why I Do What I Do
I didn’t always love photographing people. My early works consisted mainly of florals and nature scenes. Then someone very dear to me passed away. I was terrified I would forget her. Now, years later, I have a hard time recalling what she looked like. We had no photos of her. She hated having her picture taken. It was then that photography changed for me. Photography became my way of preserving the important moments that tell the story of a person’s life.
When I capture wedding photos, I am constantly thinking of how the wedding day will be remembered. How can I best capture a representation of the day to make it last forever. I am thinking of the people who will look at these photos with love years down the road. My goal is to create heirlooms.
Timeless & Authentic
Imagery
In the world of art, fashion and photography, trends come and go quickly. I keep my editing style classic, film inspired and true to life to ensure its long lasting timeless quality.

About The Photographer
If you are taking the time to read a little bit more about me, know that I am beyond flattered. I was born and raised in Michigan. That makes me a midwest girlie at heart. I started photography when I was very young. I apprenticed after a local wedding photographer for two years before stepping out on my own. I have been photographing weddings independently since 2017.
When I wasn’t doing wedding photography, I also attended college. I earned a Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Rush Medical College in Chicago Illinois. While in grad school, I met my husband Jake.
Jake and I have been on all sorts of wonderful adventures together including traveling the world and living in California for a year. Jake is currently an emergency medicine resident at Shands Hospital. That is how we ended up in Gainesville Florida.
